MULTIMODAL ENDOSCOPY

This project develops photoacoustic-fluorescence endoscopy imaging systems for guidance of minimally invasive procedures, such as brain tumour biopsy and fatal surgery.

MULTIMODE FIBRE + WAVEFRONT SHAPING

The multimode fibre is characterised for raster-scanning a tightly focused light spot in front of the distal fibre tip before imaging implementation.

OPTICAL WAVEFRONT SHAPING THROUGH MULTIMODE FIBRE

The light transmitted through a multimode fibre is shaped into a tightly focused light spot. The foci are uniformly distributed across the fibre tip.
