This groundbreaking device, designed to enhance needle guidance precision with real-time imaging and tracking, has the potential to significantly reduce complications—by up to 30%—in procedures such as biopsies and injections. By minimizing invasiveness, it also promises faster recovery times, reducing hospital stays by as much as 50%, and offering an overall improvement in patient outcomes.
This milestone was the result of a transformative six-month accelerator program, where our team—operating under the name Beacon Surgical, a spin-out company in preparation—collaborated with mentors, clinicians, and industry experts to refine the device’s design and commercial strategy.
